Artwork Specifications

File Format – The following programs are acceptable: 

Half-Tones and Screens – Half-tones and screens tend to print with a choppy/dotty look due to our printing method. Images with gradients and lighter shades of colors have a tendency to print as a rough transition of dots. Half-Tones and screens do not print as they appear on a computer screen, inkjet or laser printout. Photos are not guaranteed to print well due to the variation of tones in each individual photo. If a true fade or shading is required, then our digital imprint is recommended. Payment Terms – Credit card is the preferred method and can be done at the time of placing your order on our website. Visa, MasterCard, American Express are all accepted. We also accept Paypal. If you wish to use this method of payment, a separate invoice will be sent to you with your order confirmation email.

Product Colors – The pictures on this website and in our catalog are a representation only of the product colors and ink colors. Photographed colors can vary from the actual products. If exact colors are critical, please contact your customer service rep for an actual product sample prior to production. Due to dye lot variations in the paper pulp, recycling, and plastic resin mixing processes, the actual color of the product could vary slightly from run to run.

Production Time – All custom printed orders will be shipped in 5 – 10 working days. The majority of the time quicker service is available. This may fluctuate based on seasonal volume. Return Policy – All custom-printed items are not returnable to inventory. (Blank products are returnable with a 25% restocking fee.) If you feel an error has been made on your order or that you have received inferior quality printing, please contact your CSR at customerservice@hospitalitydepot.com. You may also contact us through the "Contact US" feature here on our website. If you wish to speak with a live representative, please call: 888-527-5767. You will be asked to submit a sample and/or a photograph of the issue you are experiencing. Please do not destroy your shipment. In order to receive credit, goods MUST be returned to our factory. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE.

We offer 22 standard ink colors which are listed here with their approximate Pantone Matching System color. If you require an exact match, or a color that is not listed below, please specify a PMS # on the notes portion of your order. Due to color variations on computer screens and various printers, we cannot match colors to your file without a specific PMS #.

* White Ink Limitations – Napkins are printed using "non-opaque" inks, therefore light inks (especially white) on colored napkins will not print true to color. EXAMPLE: A WHITE IMPRINT on a KRAFT NAPKIN will result in the imprint looking LIGHT BEIGE and will be hard to see. It is highly recommended that dark inks, such as black, blue, or red be used on kraft napkins. Ink color matching cannot be achieved on colored napkins. On plastic cups, however, we use a heavy opaque ink that will achieve a bright white imprint. Therefore, a white imprint on a colored napkin will not match the white ink printed on a cup.

Unless otherwise specified, the standard layout is shown below. You must specify on your order if any other layout is desired. *Note – on a cup, 1 side imprint is standard. If a 2-sided imprint is desired, you must note this on your order!
